Women & their avocations - special offer on coach trips for secondary schools
Why did women choose to be herbalists, language teachers or authors of short stories in their spare time? Students explore this question by trying out some of the various jobs women carried out in the years between 1900‒1970, and also by locating objects that match the activities featured in the Hjáverkin exhibition. The Kynungabók textbook [information for young people on equal rights] is ideal support material for this visit.
Admission is free for school and leisure groups of all ages when booked in advance through firstname.lastname@example.org
