Artist Talk in Icelandic: Hlynur Pálmason│Lament for a Horse

Hlynur Pálmason cordially invites you to an Artist Talk in Icelandic about his "Lament for a Horse" on Sunday, 26 May, at 14:00. Remember, admission is free, making it a perfect opportunity for everyone to join.

The photo series "Lament for a Horse" by artist and filmmaker Hlynur Pálmason sheds visual and graphic light on the decaying process of a horse in Iceland's nature. Hlynur was born in Reykjavík in 1984 but grew up in Höfn í Hornafirði, a fishing town in the southeastern part of Iceland. He studied photography and filmmaking in Copenhagen and lived there for twelve years. He moved with his family back to Höfn in 2018 and works there on creative projects in art and filmmaking. He has received recognition in Iceland and abroad for his films Winter Brothers (2017), A White, White Day (2019) and Godland (2022).
