The Toys in the Museum Houses is a fun treasure hunt activity for the whole family around the museum area. You can access the game electronically via a QR code or get a printed copy from the museum shop. At the Lækjargata house, which is adjacent to the square on the museum site, kids can play with the toys from Völuskrín. Come and Play! in the Museum House Landakot is an immersive exhibition showcasing toy development in the 20th century. Children can play freely in this exhibition. This event is part of the Reykjavík City Museum Winter School Break Programme. Admission is free for adults accompanying children. Everyone is welcome!
