Are you currently studying Icelandic?

Are you currently studying Icelandic?

Reykjavík City Museum offers a guided tour of the Photographic Museum on Sunday, November 3, from 14:00 to 15:00, specifically for individuals learning Icelandic.

Katleen Abbeel will lead the tour in easy-to-understand Icelandic. The current featured exhibition is "RASK," a visual narrative created by photographer Agnieszka Sosnowska and poet Ingunn Snædal. It prompts the question, "What happened here?" Katleen Abbeel is a guide, translator, and Icelandic teacher who speaks Icelandic as a second language. Soon, a list of 6-10 words used in the tour will be published, so stay tuned. Participants are encouraged to prepare a question before attending. The museum is an excellent place to practice Icelandic, and the guided tour is free for individuals learning Icelandic, including beginners and those with more advanced knowledge, as well as children and adults. More information about the exhibition can be found on our website at https://borgarsogusafn.is/syningar/agnieszka-sosnowska-rask. The museum is accessible, and service dogs are welcome. Buses stop at Lækjargata and routes 3 and 14 stop at Geirsgata (by Hafnarhús). Parking spaces are available in garages at Vesturgata 7 and at Hafnartorg.
