The Reykjavík City Museum offers a guided tour of the Maritime Museum for people who are learning Icelandic. The tour will take place on Saturday, 14 March, from 14:00–15:00. Katleen Abbeel will give the tour in easy-to-understand Icelandic. The tour will cover the exhibition Fish & folk – 150 years of fisheries. The exhibition is about fishing in Iceland and is educational and enjoyable for people of all ages. Katleen Abbeel speaks Icelandic as a second language. She is a guide, translator, and Icelandic teacher. The museum is a great place to practice Icelandic. The guided tour is free of charge and intended for people who are learning Icelandic, both beginners and those who know more.

Accessibility at the Maritime Museum is good. The museum has two floors and an elevator between floors. Assistance dogs are welcome in the museum. Bus number 14 stops near the museum.
