Are you learning Icelandic? - guided tour in easy Icelandic

Reykjavík City Museum offers a guided tour of Viðey for people learning Icelandic. The tour takes place on Saturday, 14 June, from 13:15 to 15:30.
Katleen Abbeel will guide the group, speaking in clear and easy-to-understand Icelandic. Viðey is a fantastic place to enjoy nature in a unique setting — full of history, scenic coastlines, and outdoor art. Katleen Abbeel speaks Icelandic as a second language. She’s a guide, translator, and Icelandic teacher. The tour is a great chance to practise your Icelandic in a relaxed and fun environment! Since Viðey is an island, you'll take a ferry from Skarfabakki, departing at 13:15 and returning at 15:30 — but feel free to stay longer if you'd like. We recommend booking tickets in advance at: https://elding.is/videy-ferry-skarfabakki The tour is for all Icelandic learners — both beginners and those with more experience. More info about Viðey: https://borgarsogusafn.is/videy Accessibility: The ferry is accessed via a gangway that may vary in steepness due to tides. Paths on Viðey are either gravel or grassy. Assistance dogs are welcome. Public transport: On weekends, the nearest bus stop is LHÍ Laugarnes (about 16 minutes’ walk to the ferry).
