Are you learning Icelandic? - First Day of Summer

On Thursday, April 23rd, we celebrate the First Day of Summer at Árbær Open Air Museum and offer a guided tour for people who are learning Icelandic. Danijela Zivojinovic will be guiding the tour in easy-to-understand Icelandic.
The guided tour starts at 14:00 and is part of a fun programme on the first day of summer. At Árbær Open Air Museum, you can learn about the history of Reykjavík and life in the olden days in a unique environment. The guided tour is free and is for people who are learning Icelandic, both for beginners and those who know more. The museum is a good place to practice Icelandic. Accessibility: Most of the paths in the museum area are gravel paths. Most of the buildings are accessed by climbing one step or over a threshold. Assistance dogs are welcome in the museum. Buses: The nearest stop is called Árbæjarsafn (1 min. walk). Other nearby stops are Laxakvísl and Fagribær (5-6 min. walk). Parking for the disabled is available at the entrance to the museum.
