Candle Lantern Workshop during Autumn break

Árbær Open Air Museum invites families to enjoy a cozy creative session together during the autumn break and make their own candle lantern. The workshop will take place on 23 October from 10:00 to 12:00. Free admission and everyone is welcome, but registration is required🕯️ During the workshop, we will give old jars a new life by upcycling them and decorating them with beautiful dried summer flowers. In this way, we bid farewell to summer in a creative way while making a beautiful candle lantern to brighten the autumn season. ‼️Registration is required, as we only have a limited number of jars available. One jar is allocated per child of primary school age. To register, please contact the museum education team at: 👉 hopar.borgarsogusafn@reykjavik.is We look forward to welcoming you to a warm and enjoyable workshop where creativity, quality family time, and sustainability come together. 🍂This event is part of Reykjavík City Museum's autumn break programme.
