Culture Night at the Reykjavík City Museum

There will be a diverse program at the Reykjavík City Museum on Culture Night, where people of all ages can explore and enjoy the history that our society is built upon. A variety of events will take place at the Settlement Exhibition at Aðalstræti 10 and 16, the Reykjavík Museum of Photography, and the Reykjavík Maritime Museum. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

Staff dressed in traditional clothing from earlier times will demonstrate various household and rural tasks, and the settlement hens will roam freely around the museum grounds. There will be soapbox cars and outdoor toys on site, and visitors can also enjoy the popular exhibition Come and Play in a building called Landakot. In the building Líkn, there will be a crafting corner and a boardgame room, as well as a quiet space to relax and browse through books. On the lower floor of the house, QR codes will lead to various fun games around the museum area. Please note that admission to Árbær Open Air Museum is not free, unlike the other exhibition venues.
