Reykjavík Museum of Photography

The exhibition _Tannenbaum_ depicts the photographers thoughts about forestry. As Iceland´s most popular Christmas Tree, Hauksdóttir looks into the role of the pine-tree in connection to the Christmas Celabration and its destiny after the holidays. She travels around Reykjavík and and nearst area with her camera, where various scenes, curious and funny are brought before the viewers eyes.

Kristín Hauksdóttir is from Reykjavík. She studied Art and Photography at the Icelandic College of Arts and Craft and Pratt Institute in New York.
