The eye of the photographer seeks out forms and patterns in the nature; grey, green, sienna - earth colours which are characteristic in the works.  Completed with the hazy lights they build a charming mood. 



Although picturesque and aestetical elements are obviosly apparent in his work they, nevertheless, have an important documentational value; he automatically documents a country in the flux of change. 

In the exhibition, most of the pictures are of Icelandic nature and it can be stated that the works of Thomas Graics are a perfect example of the hybrid character of photography, where both artistic and documentational values are intertwined.
