The following explanation of water can be found on The Icelandic Web of Science:

“Water is part of a continuous cycle: it evaporates from the ocean in lower latitudes, moves inland where it condenses and falls to the ground, then flows back to the sea through rivers and streams or seeps into the bedrock as groundwater, eventually returning to the ocean over time.”
In this exhibition, photographers capture water in its many manifestations, both liquid and solid. We see it crashing against the shoreline, flowing toward the sea, or existing in frozen form, waiting for the sun’s rays to release it from its icy bonds.

Showcasing their work in the seventh series are as follows:

- Arngrímur Blöndahl
- Brynja Jóhannsdóttir
- Finnur P Fróðason
- Jóhann Guðni Reynisson
- Jóhanna Ingimundardóttir
- Lárus St. Guðmundsson
- Sigríður Jóna Kjartansdóttir

There will be a total of seven exhibitions, each with a different theme. Forty-seven photographers will participate, and each exhibition will run for six weeks. Members were invited to take part in a survey where they could indicate which themes they would like to see featured. The following themes received the most votes:

- **Movement** 9 January – 22 February
- **Landscape** 27 February – 12 April
- **Winter scenes** 17 April – 31 May
- **Abstract** 5. June – 19 July
- **Street scenes** 24 July – 13 September
- **B/W** 18 September – 1 November
- **Water** 6 November – 31 December

Many of the members participating in these exhibitions have been part of the association for a long time, while others are taking their first steps in exhibiting their work. A passion for photography is the foundation of the group. Quite a few members have pursued photography education through courses both in Iceland and abroad. Some members are students at the Iceland School of Photography, while others are fully qualified photographers from the Technical College.
