Arnór Kári seeks to immerge himself in the moment. Instead of trying to capture “the perfect photo” or hunting for the “right moment” he relies on his instinct and emotions while photographing. 

In Arnór´s body of work nature and humanity blend together, creating a sense of timelessness. The viewer might feel somehow connected or drawn to the places and atmosphere the photos depict.  


Arnór Kári (b.1987) finished a BFA degree from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2012. Since then he´s explored various factions of artistic interpretation. He´s dabbled in street art, changing the face of central Reykjavík with large murals. He has participated in various solo and group exhibitions e.g. Reykjavik art festival, Secret Solstice og LungA. Music is also a big part of his persona, he performs under the name Andartak and released his first album Mindscapes with Möller Records in 2015. He´s currently working on an adventurous 100 m long mural for the Landspitali University Hospital, that work will also be depicted in a children book.
