Traces of Life: Subjective and Personal Tendencies in Icelandic Contemporary Photography

The exhibition consists of series by Agnieszka Sosnowska, Bára Kristinsdóttir, Daniel Reuter, Hallgerður Hallgrímsdóttir, Kristina Petrošiutė and Skúta. The photographers are central figures in their work, as the subject matter of the images as well as the ever-present onlooker. The exhibition presents traces of life through self-portraits, images of the photographers’ immediate surroundings and series that reflect on their experience and memories.
