Viking Costume Corner on Culture Night
On the occasion of Culture Night, we invite families to join us at the little Vikings costume corner at the Settlement Exhibition Aðalstræti 16 on 22 August from 16:00 to 21:00. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
Visitors at the Settlement Exhibition will have the chance to dress up in Viking costumes and carry weapons like our ancestors once did. You can pose in front of a cool backdrop and take a photo. This event is part of the Reykjavík City Museum’s diverse program for Culture Night. Accessibility is good in Aðalstræti. Please note that the lighting is rather dim inside the exhibition hall by the ruins, and the floor is uneven in some places. Guide dogs are welcome at the museum.
