Our animals 100 years from now

Reykjavík Museum of Photography offers a fun drawing workshop for children about the animals in our lives during the winter school break. The museum has countless pictures that show children and animals in the old days, but what will our relationship with animals look like 100 years from now?

What kind of pets will people have? Will we have talking dogs or even dinosaurs? Imagine it’s the future! Draw a picture of what you think animals and kids will do together in 2125. We will use 100-year-old photographs as inspiration and draw pictures of children and animals in 100 years. Free admission for children and accompanying adults. Access for people with disabilities is good. Service dogs are welcome at the museum. Public transport: The nearest bus stops are called Hafnarhús, Lækjartorg, Ráðhúsið (2–5 min. away). Parking places are available by the museum and in neighbouring parking houses in Vesturgata 7 and Hafnartorg.
