Flag Workshop on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia

Welcome to a flag-making workshop at Árbær Open Air Museum on Sunday, 17 May at 13:00–15:00, in celebration of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) and International Museum Day. Free entry and everyone is welcome!
Flags are symbols that unite communities – and now we’re going to create our own! Everyone is invited to craft flags that reflect ideas, emotions, and diversity. Paper, glue, colors, and of course sticks will be available on site. If the weather allows, participants are also welcome to place their flags in the flower bed in the square at Árbær Open Air Museum. The Reykjavík City Museum received rainbow certification in 2022. https://reykjavik.is/en/rainbow-certification-reykjavik Accessibility: Most walking paths in the museum area are gravel.
