Slow Living Weekend
Join us for Slow Living Weekends to immerse yourself in traditional crafts.
Our staff will be dressed in attire from bygone eras as they demonstrate tasks like gardening, washing, spinning wool, knitting, churning butter, frying Icelandic "flatkökur" and "lummur" (small pancakes), roasting coffee beans, and practising the fine crafts of forging and printing. Younger visitors can explore our collection of box cars and other outdoor toys for endless entertainment. In the pasture, sheep, goats, and horses peacefully graze, along with our free-roaming Icelandic Settlement Hens. Everyone is welcome to come and join us!
