Cornflakes masks - fun workshop during winter school break
We will host a fun cornflakes mask workshop for children during the winter school break. Entry is free for both children and their accompanying adults.
In 1955, masks for children were printed on the back of various cereal packages. Today, we have collected and created various fun and quirky masks that children can cut out and enjoy without eating the cornflakes. Accessibility is good in Aðalstræti. Please note that the lighting is rather dim inside the exhibition hall by the ruins, and the floor is uneven in some places. Guide dogs are welcome at the museum. Buses stop at the Town Hall (2 minutes walk) and at Lækjargata (5 minutes walk).
