Historical walk I Reykjavik 240th birthday

This year, the City of Reykjavík celebrates its 240th anniversary, and on that occasion the Reykjavík City Museum is offering a historical walking tour of Aðalstræti, the town’s first street. Historians Guðbrandur Benediktsson and Helga Maureen Gylfadóttir will lead the walk, which begins at 20:00 at the City Library in Grófin, Tryggvagata 15. Spoken language: Icelandic. Everyone is welcome and participation is free.
Evening walks are a series of events organized by the Reykjavík City Museum, Reykjavík City Library and Reykjavík Art Museum. The walk takes place on Thursday evenings during the summer months. You will find a complete programme for the summer evening walks on the City Library's website https://borgarbokasafn.is/kvoldgongur and on Facebook page, Kvöldgöngur.
