Museum Experience: Summer Workshop - Registration Required

On 15, 16, 18, and 19 June at 9:00-12:00 a four-day summer course will be held at Árbær Open Air Museum for children aged 9–12. The course costs 12,000 ISK. Registration is required and can be completed here: https://outlook.office.com/book/vidburdir_borgarsogusafn@reykjavik.is/?ismsaljsauthenabled
During the course, children will have the opportunity to take part in a creative exploration of culture, heritage, and history at Árbær Open Air Museum. They will spend time both indoors and outdoors in the safe environment of the open-air museum, where they will discover objects and choose inspiration for visual expression through crafts such as cyanotype printing and wool work. The course emphasizes calm togetherness, allowing children to enjoy themselves both individually and as part of a group. At the end of the course, there will be an exhibition of their work for friends and family.
