RE Pride - Rainbow Workshop on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia
Welcome to an open rainbow workshop at the Maritime Museum on 16-17 May from 10:00 to 17:00, on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) and International Museum Day. Free admission and everyone is welcome!
On site will be paper in all the colors of the rainbow, which visitors can use to make flags or write messages on and hang on the ship RE Pride, which will be on display in the museum’s Bryggjusalur. The Reykjavík City Museum received rainbow certification in 2022: https://reykjavik.is/en/rainbow-certification-reykjavik Accessibility at the Maritime Museum is good. The museum has two floors, with an elevator between them. Assistance dogs are welcome in the museum. Bus route 14 stops near the museum. Free parking.
